The Argidius Foundation has a yearly budget of several million US dollars that it uses to fund projects and organisations that meet the following eligibility criteria.

1. Potential for employment creation
2. Cost effectiveness
3. Innovation & reasonable risk
4. Scalability
5. Experience of implementing organisation and soundness of approach
6. Social and or environmental benefits
7. Potential for poverty alleviation
8. Inclusion of partnerships beneficial for project implementation
9. Sound exit strategy
10. Possibility of leveraging Argidius Foundation's funding and potential for sustainability.
