Mission

To support business based development approaches that focus on the creation of sustainable employment "plus" for the poor in developing countries. The foundation recognises that poverty is multidimensional and therefore seeks, in combination with employment creation, to leverage additional social impact through positive change in other important areas (the "plus") such as education, health, nutritional status, and the environment.

The foundation defines employment broadly as an occupation by which an individual earns a decent living, which can include self employment, the net creation of jobs and the provision of opportunities that move populations from situations of underemployment.
